Does this count as public burping?

I currently live in this apartment above a furniture store and also just down the street from a local university that has students walking by all day. With the weather getting nicer, I decided to open my windows on a day off. I heard people talking as they walked by and it got me thinking…

If you belch loudly in your own home and the public can hear it, does it count as burping in public?

If a member of the public hears them I would say, yes!

Is it also the lowest form of public burping, probably!?

I had to think a little on this 1, but I’d probably say no. Although the same amount of people would be able to hear you if you were outside, walking down the street.. the fact that in your own home.. would make it NOT public in my opinion.

You’re not in the public, but if an individual in the public walk by and heard you, they would get an earful

I think it counts a lot more if they can see you.

I used to blast burps out my window but I was on the third floor. Very fun. Maybe not for my neighbors…
