How to make my burps sound less manly?

This isn’t exactly an answer to the question asked, but I think saying excuse me is a great way to make the act appear more feminine. Hearing “excuse me” from a man always feels somewhat out of place to me for some reason.

I will do voice training to see if it helps. one of my friends said I should it anyway but hasn’t told me how to properly go about it.

I would suggest trying to burp from your throat rather than from your stomach/diaphragm (easier said than done). But sometimes I accidentally burp from higher up like in my throat and it’s more of a thinner more delicate sounding burp. Maybe that’s what you’re going for!

I’m super late, but as an FTM, while hormones changed my voice but didnt change the quality of my burps at all, practicing and using voice training techniques very much did (specifically, activating the oropharynx). So I’d wager the prospects for ladies improving in the other direction as me are very very good :)

I never saw this thread until now. I feel like nobody is gonna like this answer but I think the “manly” burps makes it hotter. Also burps sounds are subjective. There are a lot of times where by only listening to the just the sound I can’t tell who they are sourced from. Also who cares who they are sourced from, especially if the burp sounded hot to begin with.

Look at all the female voice actors who burp for male characters out there. Again, I know people arent gonna like this answer, but I dont think its anything to worry about.
