I think it is okay to enjoy shitty people burping as long as you don’t try to justify what they do or support them. I don’t think watching someone else’s Brittany Venti comp supports her in any way, but if I sub and donate to her then I feel like I am doing something
This was always going to be contentious, unfortunately. I imagine a lot of niche communities are having the same discussions right now. We all share a common interest and one that is, by it’s very nature, an intimate one. Fetishes are cool as fuck and deserve these kinds of in-depth discussions.
I think it’s also cool that people want to express how they indulge that interest in whatever way they want.
I’ll say this: To those of us who do see the value in politically engaging with kink content, I think it’s important that we do so with the knowledge that we’re more than likely in the minority. I think it’s fun and I’ll continue to do so. If you feel the same, please continue on.

Politics does affect people in their day to day lives,and if it doesn’t affect you,you’re either a member of a demographic less discriminated against/rich,or you’re wilfully ignoring the effects of politics on your day to day life. You’re also contradicting yourself within one sentence,but tbh since I’ve written that reply I’ve read the rest of your posts in here,and frankly some of what you’re saying is just full of hate. Which again,is affecting people,and the hateful comments are fuelled by politics

Dude how am I ignoring how politics affect me? I just said that there were things that I agreed upon and disagreed upon. I guess I didn’t give specifics but here’s some. Between Obama trump and Biden, the economy has been on a very good pace, other than when Biden was slapped with a 9% inflation (which was partially because of Covid) but he eventually brought it down. They also all created new jobs and provided a somewhat economy for the average American. The things I dislike is the democratic open border policy, which should be sought against, which trump was huge on, and everyone knows that. The reason we don’t have open borders is so that violent criminals coming from other countries don’t come in and rob, terrorize, or rape any of our woman or children. There’s a reason why we have a lengthy immunization process to become a citizen here. Another thing is the world leaders all respect trump. Both when Obama and Biden were in office, we had so many new wars pop up, and when trump was in, there were ZERO. Zero. And already even before trump is back in office again Russia wants to work out the Ukraine war to come to an end, china wants to stop all their antics that they have been about and reside to peace, and the Middle East is stepping down ASAP from bombing each other.
If this still isn’t enough I’m glad to share more, don’t say I’m ignorant on politics because unlike most people I actually do research and not just go “wow you’re not on my side? Kill yourself maga trash”
I don’t think there’s an “open border” policy,and while I’m no fan of either side,(in fact I believe that if these are the best we can do,it’s clearly an indication of an entirely failed system) I believe language matters,and it can incite violence and hate. Telling blatant lies in debates also matters,especially if they are inflammatory comments,like “they’re eating the dogs”,etc. and you could say that he’s said before about deportations,and building walls and haven’t actually done it,just said it,but by voting for this rhetoric you are giving him a mandate to do it. Same thing with his blatant attack on lgbt,promoting the nuclear family,and whitewashing everything. All of this is such an easy to see parallel to what’s been going on in the early 20th century,I find it insane that people don’t see it. And again,I’m not a democrat,I believe they’d need to do better to inspire people to actually vote for them,but imo it’s the lesser of 2 evils. And I haven’t even gone into climate change denial,attacks on the right for abortions,and a lot of other things.
I understand you do your own research,which I do encourage everyone to do,but unfortunately the world is so fucking full of information,written from all sortsof points of views,that it’s very easy to find info that backs up your own biases,and none of us are immune to that,including myself.
And while I agree that telling people to kill themselves is not productive,you also gotta understand that if you run out of arguments and you go straight for bigotry,you’re not helping anybody. Telling a trans person the shit you did is frankly unacceptable,and that to me shows privilege,the fact you even think of saying something so purposely shitty.

But the long and short of it really is that until we’re all capable of just sitting down and listen to each other,and try to understand each other’s points of view,instead of trying to “win”,we’re doomed to be divided and building an unfair society

Not to add more fuel to the fire but it is like pointing out the good things Hitler did. It doesn’t out weigh the bad. What good things has he done? He was friends with Epstein and Diddy. He has gone bankrupt several times. He has said awful about women and even said he would date his daughter. It is alleged he had sex with a 14 year old. He is a known rapist but “let’s focus on the good things”. What good things? His small hands or his orange glow? Also he is a felon and to add to this he once looked at a 10 year old and said “I’ll be dating her in 10 years” you know normal behaviour of people who should be fed into a woodchipper feet first.

I think none of us can deny the importance of politics in the everyday. They are inevitable. This may be why we become so defensive when our political stance is threatened by others with different or antagonistic opinions.
I do not think it is acceptable to suggest calling for another’s suicide or to degrade another’s gender identity or sexual identity. Nothing said by Spc2003 should be surprising or outrageous. It is clear what their opinions are and that they lack courtesies some left-leaning users may hope from them. Abandon hope. It is not serving you here. If they say outrageous things, flag their posts. I do not agree with their politics, but I’m not gonna argue with them. None of us will be swayed through these message boards to alter our opinion.
Needless to say, to each their own, their anger and their judgement. No gods, no masters.
Trump is a sycophant. The wars that started during Biden’s presidency were fomented through Trump’s first term, founded in Obama’s last term, and dreamt in the terms of all those presidents preceding ours. ZERO wars have a clear inception, just as the economy is a holistic beast. To measure the worth of a leader by whether or not a war started under them is like buying a house because it’s never burned down. Not a useful metric for buying a home. Be patient and care not for idols. Trump does not serve any of us here. He is a multi-billionaire taking office in the most powerful political seat on Earth. He is utterly removed as a mammal from any role that we play in our civil life. He is an alien to us. He is not our leader. He is an idea. He is useless. The world leaders do not respect Trump. They know he will let them take advantage of US holdings in service of US foreign interest. Foreign leaders do not view people the same way we do. Politicians in higher stations do not view people the same way we do. Theirs is another philosophy altogether. These are a nobility class. This has been most apparent in the Democratic Party, and is part of why they failed to outperform Trump in the election. Trump is an illusion painted over the other side of this nobility. Because, of course, the US does not have a two-party system but a one-party system with two faces. The wars that started during Biden’s presidency will continue under Trump. Even if Ukraine falls and the Russian war ends, it will only be the start of a cold war and growing European tension. It will afford Russia the means to funnel more artillery to their proxies in the Middle East where a regional war is likely to continue as Netanyahu continues his war indefinitely to maintain the Likud’s power in Israel (and avoid prosecution). This will only escalate tensions between the Western allies and the Axis of Resistance (Russia-funded) which will in turn only escalate tensions between the Western hegemony and the Axis of Upheaval. Amidst this, of course, China will be an ever-growing threat to US imperialism not only because of their alarming advancement over the past decades but especially because of Taiwan. So much rests on such a small thing. The wheel of history is turning. Trump will not change that and anyone who thinks one man will make a difference is an idealist and a fool. Now is the time for community, civility, and common decency.
Regardless of how any of us may feel about the opinions of our fellow fetishists, we must acknowledge the sincerity of our commonality. This is a space specifically catered to all of us. We each deserve respect here. Enough calls for violence, enough degrading language. We must get over ourselves. We’re all dead. We all deserve better. If you disagree, that’s fine, but don’t be a fool about it. Waste your time on happier things.
