idk, if y’all want to meet people with the fetish, it’s honestly not that hard. I’ve met like… three(?) eructophiles irl. But you’ve got to be willing to either bring up kinks in casual conversation or you’ve got to meet up with people you meet online. I’ve done both. Obviously, location is a factor but still. Don’t act like it’s impossible if you haven’t even put in basic effort

I find myself torn between you two. I don’t think it’s improbable to impossible by any means, but I also think it’s harder for guys to get women to open up like that. Just from my own experiences, and I’m not saying all women are the same, I’ve noticed that being too open is scary to women in some situations.
I feel like I have to navigate a super thin line. On one side if I don’t show enough interest in anything then I’m playing it too cool, but if open up all the way then something must be weird about me.
This is most likely a result of my own lack of self esteem and confidence. A battle that I’ve been getting a bit of help with from a therapist (though not a great one).

it would be “impossible” because like you said, a straight man cannot navigate sexually that casually with people like women can. If he did, I’m sure that would not result in a positive outcome, same goes if they opened up with men, most guys don’t want to hear about another guys fetishes and certainly not going to ring up their own.
I do think however, the burp fetish is not as rare as some of us may think

I’ve never met another person with the fetish in person or even on Fetlife.

In 2017, this study by Joyal and Carpentier surveyed 1,040 people about paraphilic interests and nearly half admitted to having some kind of “kink”, which was statistically significant. This was far more than researchers had expected. What they also found was that, at least from the fetishes they surveyed, there was no significant leaning between men and women. For example, they couldn’t say that a man or woman is more or less likely to be into BDSM. Granted, I can’t see the whole study so I don’t know for sure what other fetishes were admitted (i.e. gas). But if you could make any deductions from this it could be that more women out there are into gas fetishes than we thought - they are simply discouraged to act like that or show such a “manly” joy in burping or farting.
I think in the next decade or so we will fully realize how secretly common kinks are and maybe then we may finally see more women open up about stuff.

that’s my take so far. it seems like a ton of women are into it, but its more likely to manifest as wanting to perform rather than watch. i don’t think it’s THAT rare.

Worth mentioning that I think I’m talking to one. She has yet to burp in front of me, but has told me many times she thinks my burps are hot. I wasn’t sure she was serious until the last time I saw her, but now I know for she’s into at least hearing me burp.

I’m a girl and I love hearing ppl burp(only guys lol)! I’m not as active on here BUT I do have other things to do like art, animation etc. And i think I might like it too much as I always add it in my stories about 15+ times XD
I actually hope/wish that one day I can meet someone (out of the community like, in the general world), I can be with for a while. Part of me is a little worried that it might be harshly reciprocated but another part of me says to not care and just carry on, especially since for me, it’s important to say what you’re into before making it fully official.

For those of you who browsed YouTube in the early days, didn’t you think there was way more female content back then with burps and farts? Or is it just me?
I don’t have much evidence to back it up now because so much of what I remember viewing back then was taken down and lost to time. But I get the vibe that early YouTube was secretly inundated with more lowkey fetish content from girls who were happy to crack a burp and a fart before social media became inundated with influencers making money. There were many channels with videos mostly comprised of black screens or at most dark and shadowy footage of a girl’s butt or face and you’d hear them burp, fart, and then laugh about it. I recall messaging a couple girls through the old YouTube messaging system talking about their content. Felt like you could find a good chunk of them back then. Even if they weren’t aware of it being a “fetish” you somehow “knew” they were into it because of how excited and charmed they were by it.
Then, well, shit happened and the Internet started sucking.

Yup, it was a true collection of burp content, probably the closest to “amateur burp porn” we’re ever going to get. Regular porn has so much content like that, but you have to look way back to 2010 YT using the search function or around there to get similar burp content, and even then, a lot of it is missing or no longer available for one reason or another.
Same happened with twerk content, though TikTok solved that problem right quick.

I know what you mean. It’s lovely to think that a lot of those girls got a jolly out of showing off their burps for the world, maybe for some it was overtly sexual and maybe for others it was more of a dormant thing that could become sexual in the right circumstances. I also think for a lot of those folks back then, the positive attention they received for their talents was enough of a turn on/reward. I don’t blame people for commercializing kink, but I do miss the authenticity and genuine connections of the early YT days.
