AI Generated Burps

So, I do not know if the technology is that capable yet, but I have no doubt in future there will be AI that can easily synthesize a burp. With AI we are already seeing the capabilities of mimicking peoples voices and even the early days of AI generated video.

So at some point am I going to be able to feed my Terabyte of burp audio/video into machine learning AI and essentially train it to know how to synthesize a burp based on a prompt/description I can input into it?

Hell, it wouldn’t even surprise me if there is capable technology that could do this already, although training it on how to let rip fetish worthy burps is probably not high on the priorities list hahaha.

The question is, do you think we would be able to tell the difference once it gets to a certain point? Will the AI be better at burping than real fetish models/content creators?

What sort of effect, if any, do you think technology like this will have on our community? I guess it becomes more of a serious threat when it is capable of making deep fake burping videos to a degree we can’t tell if it’s actually real or not.

Can’t decide if this would be a boon or not, certainly anyone making money from their burps would then have to compete with something probably much cheaper. And on the flip side of it, will we become inundated with this type of content to the point that actual real content drys up? Will we even care if we can’t tell the difference??

Sometimes I feel like even though this fetish technically does count as a body fetish and require another human being, the human element is very secondary to the sound of the burp, the burp itself becomes the object of arousal rather than the act of burping itself. In this respect it doesn’t seem so farfetched that an AI generated burp could offer just the same arousal.

I know this shit is probably at least a decade away, but I do believe it is coming eventually. What do yall think about that?? Potential gold mine?? Potential ruin?? Only time may tell I guess.

Take a look at this post and thread if you haven’t already. I might say decade right now but I belive we are less than 5 away from insanity, possibly 3.

Oh shit I have been away so long I missed that thread.

Wow the AI generated burps posted there are well ahead of what I was expecting actually. Yes I can still tell they are fake, but they still sound less fake than someone doing a fake burping sound with their mouth (but not actually burping).

I have no doubt that these would fool most normal people without the fetish though, they are quiet good indeed, they have more of a realness to them than the stock standard fake sort of burps you hear in movies or tv shows. But they do have that overarching synthetic feel to them that only someone that is intimately antiquated with burping would probably pick up on.

Based on that I would say we are probably 3-5 years from complete insanity. This thing is going to blow up dude, this fetish is perfect for the technology, I hope we can embrace it. I know I could definitely have some fun with it. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the day when it is finally able to fool me.

I’m honestly hoping this doesn’t become the reality of burping content on the internet.

I hope there is still room for real burps and content creators/fetish models and also access to AI technology. But at the same time, I am cheap and fickle so if I can put a prompt into a program and get the exact sort of burp I want and it arouses me just the same, I will probably more often than not use that technology.

It will probably remain kind of niche at first with only audio capabilities. But when they finally perfect AI video generation it really has the potential to take over. Especially if it is at the point where we can’t tell if it’s AI or not, it will make verifying content almost impossible, especially once it starts to spread.

There is no stopping it though, not for us, not for the rest of the world. AI is going to change a lot of things. Until it tries to go skynet on me I am going to try to embrace it.

Honestly, AI kind of scares me in that way, knowing that the US is already stepping in to regulate AI Reddit, which I am both simutaneously with and against as it is essentially a huge privacy risk (By this I mean having these features built into the OS’s instead of having to open up specific apps and websites) essentially means that there will be eyes on everything, whether we like it or not (unless you’re tech-savvy and use Linux Mint/GrapheneOS, but lets be real, the average person is just gonna use what comes with their electronic device and stick with it), not to mention the fact that we already know it’s scraping everything public on the internet, so anything public is already probably in the hands of huge corporations if it wasn’t already, with absolutely zero chance of getting it off their training data, the only thing companies and governments can really do in these situations if the “AI revolution” is the next big thing, (which it most definitely is) is just put some guard rails up, like YouTube forcing creators to disclose AI-Generated content or risk a suspension Reddit, and slow down the development and release of this technology to the general public before things go too off-the-rails. The only thing that can actually happen is just simple slowing down of this technology, but the fact that this technology will get better and will get to the point where it is indistinguishable, whether we like it or not, that’s the part that scares me, and we all should be aware that it’s not at all a matter of if, just a matter of when. This is already happening and we should be aware of it.

Personally, when it comes to this topic, I’m going to try my damned hardest to search for “real” content, and stay away from AI generated content as much as possible. I already have a problem with jerking off too much, I don’t need literal endless content at my fingertips, it wouldn’t help.

I agree, we should be taking it slow with tech like this in regards to releasing AI tools to the general public. And I also see major issues on the horizon when it comes to not knowing if stuff is real or not. In many ways I think peoples mindset and perspective needs to change before we can fully embrace the AI revolution. Most people just accept whatever reality is placed in front of them, without question, particularly if it is functional. And that does pose a large problem if we want human ingenuity to endure like it has for the past millennia, we do risk losing a part of ourselves as a society. We do need to find a balance between handing tasks over to AI and making sure humans remain in control and in the know.

Just wait until quantum computers become a proper thing, couple them with Advanced AI and robotics and who the hell knows what spawn of satan we will create.

But oddly, in regards to my fetish I would feel far more comfortable getting my burps from a computer than I do watching strangers burp online. As I am completely Asexual and only burps can get me to climax (audio is sufficient), I already see my fetish as being dehumanized. Why add another human into the mix if I do not have to? I understand it is not like that for most people with the fetish but that’s just me.

Looking at the other thread and listening to the AI genrated audio clips that are already presented to us, I could totally see it being helpful when it comes to fictional works such as audio books… but that’s really where my interest in AI generated content ends. (Also kind of hate how some of those were working for me even though I could tell they were fake, like we keep reiterating, it’s only going to get more complicated.)

How long do you think until quantum computers actually become reality? The likelihood of them being inside our homes is extremely slim and I really only see it being a thing major tech companies really have access to, which I think is already a thing as well. In terms of AI, we’re really only a few years, max, before this stuff actually becomes indistinguishable from reality (and, obviously, voices/audio is closer than video). In the other thread, I gave a time span of 7 months before audio becomes indistinguishable, and if not that then I feel it’s a pretty good guess considering how quickly this stuff has been developing.

That being said, you’ve got an interesting take on not having a human behind a screen burping that you don’t know. I didn’t really think of it that way as I’ve always just assumes 99% of the people posting/being posted were aware and comfortable with being on the internet. I think it is a valid point.

Honestly, I may also be Asexual, but not completely. I honestly kind of hate the fact that burping (and other related things suck as bloating, throat/stomach noises) are some of the only things that can really get me going- Sometimes other things do work, but I don’t know. I’m not really too familiar with LGBTQIA+ terms and am just now really trying to learn and aquaint them into my everyday life. I kinda picked up the habit of calling strangers they/them just out of the blue until I could properly learn their pronouns and I’ve gotten compliments for it.

I am not really sure exactly when quantum computers will be a proper thing, I highly doubt they will be in our homes within the next 50 years, but within 100 I could definitely see it. As far as I know they are still grappling with some of the fundamentals like error correction, as quantum bits are extremely prone to errors. I think our knowledge in quantum mechanics still needs to come a ways before we can iron out the problems. As far as I know 1000qbit processors are on the horizon (3-5 years) and I read a tentative date of 2030 for 1 million qbit processors. Though I am not really 100% sure on how that relates to a classical computer… But a qbit is somewhat like a transistor I guess, so even 1 million is still a tiny number compared to a modern day processor which has about 12 billion. Of course it is not an exact translation but I think even a million qbits isn’t as great as it sounds.

In response to your assumption that 99% of people posting burp content are aware and comfortable, yes that is probably true. And if anyone is posting burps for views or likes and doesn’t know it’s because it’s a sexual thing…Well they are kind of ignorant in my opinion and should educate themselves on the basics of fetishes.

But for me it’s not really the thought of them being uncomfortable with it or not realizing it’s a fetish that makes me feel uncomfortable… I just find it somewhat weird, and almost feel vulnerable or exposed in a way, hard to explain. And of course it can be a pain in the ass and time consuming to be constantly scouring the internet for new content… Just give me a button I can press to give me what I want and I’ll be much happier. :stuck_out_tongue:

And yes with the asexual stuff, I think a lot of people with fetishes like this must go through similar complexities when it comes to their sexuality. I mean I say I’m Asexual because that is just an easy blanket term that mostly covers my sexuality. I do not even think there is a term yet invented that would fit exactly but by no means am I up to date with the latest LGBTQIA+ terms.

I just know I find sex, even the thought of it, repulsive. Same goes for any form of porn, I can’t even stomach watching a burping video if there are genitals exposed. But deep down I know I’m not really asexual in the fullest sense because I do have a lot of sexual feelings and desires, they all just relate to burping. Anyway, I digress.
