A TikTok comment and a story from @Sade_Belches got me thinking: burpers of all genders, have you thought about doing sound effects for films?

LOL! I mean if any movies need an actual real belch and not fake sound effect belches or short belches extended on a loop, and they wanna compensate me , im down to provide the gas!!! 
but yea anytime I’ve ever watched a show/movie etc with other people around and there’s a burp that is either surprising/loud/super long, they always look straight at me and either start laughing, or they make a comment saying that I could have done that sound effect for the movie and it would have been way better and mine would have been real xD or they joke and say ‘was that you??’ lololol

You should be providing burp sound effects for films. You’d be paid a ton of money. Just be careful not to blow out anyone’s eardrums, LOL!!!

I hate to break it to you Sade, but you gotta start small (i.e., short films, voice overs (that’ll get your foot in the door, especially if it’s a cartoon), or create your own films/animation with friends)! Take The Backrooms short film for example. Kane Parsons, 16 at the time, decided to create this insanely popular short because he wanted to. Now, he’s directing a Backrooms movie for A24, becoming the company’s youngest director in its history.
No joke. When I make my first cinematic universe film, I’m considering asking you to do the alien language, just wayyyyyy toned down. I will pay you handsomely.

I actually did recently. A friend of mine needed a loud growl for a character so we put a mic in my mouth while I blasted a belch.
