Im extremely gassy. So much so that my wife decided to count how many times I burped one day (without me knowing she was counting). She counted 67 burps. Probably 45 or so were natural and the others were on command because I enjoy burping in front of her (she’s a very good burper too but she gets jealous that she can’t beat me in a contest so I enjoy showing off to her lol). I would guess she does 30-40 burps a day so it’s a very gassy house much to the embarrassment of our kids lol

Yeah, your wife burps more than average too, you’re a very lucky man. I should tally how many times a day I burp. Honestly, the past few days, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was near 100.

This is from early 2001, she was 20 years old back than. There is one short clip of her burping as part of the Nickelodeon Burp Zone but it’s not that impressive. As far as I know, there aren’t any other clips of her doing it.
I got called out today. One of my friends asked me if I was addicted to burping.

I didn’t overdo it. She was teasing me about my sparkling water addiction but I so wanted to say no, I would strongly prefer if someone else did the burping.
I don’t know if you overdid it, I wasn’t there. This was meant as a general comment. It’s easy to get carried away sometimes.
Yeah, I probably have in the past without knowing. It’s hard to know when someone else mentions burping how many comments are acceptable, because they created the window instead of you. If I did, this friend doesn’t mind and actually asked for me to send her a burp on one of my last birthdays (she lives in Europe but she studied in the US for a few years so she was around me for thousands of burps haha). But that’s why I post so many threads here to get people to talk about it, so I avoid doing so in real life.
Thursday night, I was eating dinner at a picnic bench in a park (with one stranger sitting at another table) which included a garlic sauce that makes me burp a loooot and before I had even finished eating, burped three times, the last one closed mouth but really deep and loud still, despite an effort to be mannerable. I joked that I couldn’t be taken anywhere, and the friend that I was having dinner with said, “it’s just a bodily function, garlic not guilt” (they have heard me burp endlessly after eating super garlicky things but assures me that it’s okay).

Female but they use they/them pronouns and therefore I don’t refer to them as she/her. This is a different friend than the one who called me out.
Have they ever burped or farted in front of you?
Aside from closed mouth burps, they’ve accidentally burped aloud in front of me like three times and they were all quiet. They’re pretty self-conscious about their own gas. They’re more of a farter, which I am not into at all, and they would be mortified to do in front of anyone else because they used to get teased for it as a kid. If they can’t burp around me of all people, there’s no hope for them to ever feel comfortable around anyone else.
