That recent uptick is definitely bc of tiktok
Seems legit and matches my experience. Content used to be VERY difficult to find in the early 2000s and prior. C4S (which launched in 2003) changed the game IMO

i wonder what’s with the downturn. and i dont think ‘girl burp’ searches on tiktok would cause google results to spike, i think more babies with burp kinks are being born, which drives up the number of searches

The old upticks seem to be around the time when Booble666 and Juliana had some of their videos go viral and when Jodie Parks went on the Howard Stern Show.
A possible explanation could be that for a decent amount of people the fetish is latent and they develop it through exposure to burp content (new people get into it when a good video goes viral) or maybe a lot more people initially have it as a sort of secondary/ occasional fetish and they don’t normally search for stuff unless they encounter it through a meme/ viral video and then it serves as reinforcement.
But it could just as well be normal people without the fetish searching for the original viral videos out of curiosity. I know I searched for a few fetish videos that don’t do anything for me when they got viral.

yeah that’s true, though i picked the term “girl burp” because that’s what teenage me was searching on the internet when it came to looking for burping content. I have no clue what everyone else was generally searching for burping content so I tried to make it as simple as possible.
Other options that were available was the worldwide option, and the UK was third behind Canada being 2nd. Also surprisingly India was on there in 4th or something like that, most likely due to being the 2nd highest English speaking country.
Also the state Option was available, according to the google analytical search thingy whatever tf, most of the people searching for “girl burp” live in Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and New York. Though that could be due to multiple reasons, one of which simply being those states have the most ppl living in them.
You cannot be born with a fetish, a physical human brain must be formed in order for it to develop, it stems from childhood development (specifically the pubescent stage during adolescence). If you want more information I suggest you read “The Dependent Gene” by David S. Moore.
