I’m trying to learn how to burp on command, but I just can’t seem to grasp the swallowing air into my stomach part. My body just doesn’t know the difference between forcing air into your stomach versus into your lungs. Is there some sort of muscle memory I need to learn with my throat and/or epiglottis in order to learn this technique?
I just learned recently and I couldn’t figure it out with the same difficulty that you’re having and then one day I was able to just figure out how to get the air down and once I remembered how to do that now I can pretty much always do it. It’s definitely like a forced swallowing of the air to go down without breathing
i learned by helping myself with water. id just sip a bit of water and filling the remaining space my mouth with air. as i swallowed the water, the air would go down with it. i gradually removed the amount of water until i could just do it without any aid.
I need a video and visuals showing and explaining this technique.
Same. I wish someone could show me a diagram that showed exactly how my esophagus and throat muscles are supposed to function in order to perform a burp.
