This is a question I have been thinking about recently as talks about banning porn begin to rise and have been brought up by multiple governments. Could the burp fetish be covert enough to be a loophole if a porn ban were to happen in a country or multiple countries.
It would depend on what such a ban would look like. Some content would surely be scrubbed. Overall, the fetish is inherently pornographic. It’s a sexual fetish.
I mean I would have no idea what a ban would look like but it maybe outlined in Project 2025 and other policies. there was supposed to be a porn ban in the UK but it never went through.

I think a porn ban is never going to happen, especially on a National level. Regardless of any project 2025 nonsense, that would be such an egregious first amendment violation that it would never hold, even the most conservative Supreme Court Justice would not allow that.
furthermore we’re talking about a multi billion dollar industry I find it impossible to believe that the companies that own Pornhub and Onlyfans don’t have massive lobbying power

Project 2025 doesn’t exist, even if it did, it would definitely infringe on amendment one. Sure some states may ban it, but a national ban is out of the question. Even if it was, people would find a work around. But to answer the question if the fetish is somewhat widely known, then it would be considered pornographic.

Imo every fetish is pornographic,by the nature of it turning people on,however,not every fetish is pornographic for every people. People who aren’t into burping will not find burps pornographic. It’s a very grey area,cause people are into all sortsof things,so how eould a ban even work in niche fetishes? You can’t ban everything.

Well police searches aren’t entirely out of the question and there could be a special task force that cracks down on such things. They do have better things to do but we could argue that low level drug offenses also eat into that time in which could be used for larger crimes. Straight up banning websites could happen as well. A Tiktok ban has been discussed time and time again and whilst it hasn’t happened it does show that thought can be put into these things. the chances of a porn ban happening seems slim but it is not impossible.
