Do you think there is a fundamental limit to the volume (decibles) that a belch can achieve based off of physics/biology? Variables to consider would include things such as stomach air capacity, throat cross sectional area, gas velocity at exit, etc…

I do wonder what Sade and some other top level belchers would get with a decibel reader, on their A+ game. Like a fantasy contest, just for sh**ts and giggles.
I know Jodie has or had the original record on guiness. I don’t recall the reading but she was standing like 2.5m away. On one of her recent YT streams she did a few with the decibel reader (right from the mouth) her loudest was in the 123-124 dbs range.
I know for Sade in her previous clip (B4) got 126.8 db’s for her loudest. Belching right into the decibel reader. So that’s the “official” loudest belch i’ve seen/heard
Would love to see if Sade (or anyone) can top that! See who can really do the loudest possible belch.
