Seeing a lot of small threads clogging the site up.
Can moderators consolidate all the threads like “who is this?” into one thread and all the requests either under one thread or under specific creator threads if there’s enough for them. I’m just sick of having to trudge through all of that when I check the site.

In the past we had the opposite problem, that absolutely everything was just put into the same thread which made navigating the site a pain, so I’m cautious about encouraging something like that again. Maybe this could be solved by categories though? Like some new ‘who is this’ category or something
Definitely could use more categories and/or sub categories. The whole tiktok thread is a bit much. I only say that because some of these threads will get a mega post in it where it garners a LOT of sudden and swift attention/replies and then it just as swiftly derails or changes to a new obsessive mega reply session on someone else. Then when I want to go back and find the first person/video I cant anymore because no one uses tags in posts usually.
I feel like mass tiktok and other platform threads are a necessary evil so we aren’t clogged with one time links. If anything, the social megathreads should be pinned somewhere. I do agree tho, going back and finding something specific is a hard one. I wonder is there any way to show only posts with links or something like the highest liked? Who is this category would be nice. If we’re suggesting more tags tho here’s a few: games, animated, AI, compilation/archive, new talent
Tangentially related, but didn’t the old forum have a “lost media” section/category or thread? I vaguely remember something like that. I would always go to the same thread to ask “Hey does anybody remember such and such video from x years ago?”
Could definitely do the same with a “Who is this?” section. A thread would be more difficult because as previously mentioned, people don’t always listen and go to the same thread they are “supposed” to post in.
But maybe there could be a general “Finding Media” section where people both try to hunt down lost media and figure out whose content a certain video belongs to.
I think I vaguely remember that Lost Media section.
