The line between attractive and gross

At what point does burping cross from being attractive into being downright nasty? For me, the following things are instant turn-offs:

  • When the person burping is trying too hard to be “sexy” (there is a difference between sexy and cringy/unnatural)
  • When the burping happens as part of a roleplay that’s very cliche’d or overused
  • When there is spitting involved
  • When there is vomit involved and you can actually see/hear it happening. I once saw a video where a girl is burping on command and then the camera moves to show her being sick in the toilet, along with the associated sights and noises. I know that sometimes things do go wrong - but for me it just spoils things completely.
  • When the person burping is overly fixated on describing how it tastes or smells. It’s fine to make reference to that, but don’t overdo it.

What are the things that make it unattractive to you?

Yeah for me it’s vomit, or vomit-sounding burps. When they gurgle too much then it’s gross to me.

Vomiting is definitely were I find it to be extremely gross and not attractive. I agree trying to hard to be sexy while burping is definitely a turn off

Spitting and puking for me too :confounded::confounded: nope. As well as the sexy thing. If I click on a vid and a girl/guy burps (I like both genders doing it) and their next sentence is “you liked that didn’t you” or something along those lines I’m out. I feel like a kid being talked to when they do that. Just burp lmaoo

exposing their privates or expelling any kind of bodily function that isnt gas is really not my thing at all.

Same. I think burps should be relieving. People shouldn’t be making themselves sick.

Vomit, Trying Too Hard to be Sexy, Vore/Unnaturally Large Stomachs. And while this doesn’t make the burps themselves worse for me, I find it harder to enjoy videos where I know there are a ton of creeps in the comments.

I agree with all of the above but I’m also really not into smells. If the burper starts talking about the smell of the burp or even sometimes the taste, I’m out

That’s exactly it! I don’t enjoy burps that sound like they have liquid in them - I just want to hear air coming up. Vomit is something that I really hate. It’s awful!

I don’t enjoy them. Burps shouldn’t have any gurgly or liquid sounds in them. I know that they do happen, but I don’t like them really.

My list mainly boils down to natural burps being the best.

  • spitting and humiliation
  • burps that sound like the foam from the soda she just drank, but gurgly is OK
  • over-the-top burping in your face
  • describing the smell or taste in a “sexy” way
  • forced burps – I don’t mean on-command burps, just burps where it wouldn’t have come naturally or she had to squeeze it out
  • visible vomit – if it’s off camera, cool with me
  • farting

I agree with you about burping in your face. That isn’t great because I wouldn’t enjoy being forced to breathe it in and smell it.

Trying too hard, burp-talking, when they’re super chunky/gurgly/liquidy, farting, vomiting, commenting on how it smells or tastes bad.

Farting, seeing a bunch of gross-looking food (which is why I don’t enjoy many mukbangs nowadays), puking (if on camera; I don’t mind the sound so much as seeing it), trying hard to be sexy, being impressed by weak burps, and forced burps (I don’t mind them if it’s a really talented belcher who gets one stuck; it’s when the burper very good at all that I really don’t like the forced ones).

Hmmm let’s see…

  1. Liquidy burps(gurgly wet burps that sound as if whatever they just drank is coming back up). It’s even more gross if liquid actually comes out(spit, vomit, the drink she just had, etc).

  2. Sulfur burps/burps that produce a smell

  3. Excessive burping. Frequent burping is cool and all but if the person is burping every five to ten minutes, its likely I will become jaded to their burps(and eventually annoyed by them). A bit of shock value can really add to a burp for me, so they tend to lose their pizazz when its the same person burping over and over again non stop.

  4. Extremely loud burps. Don’t get me wrong I love deep loud belches, but some burps sound so obnoxiously loud that I can’t really enjoy them.

  5. If they burp something up(This one kind of goes along with number 1). A chunk of food or anything else for that matter.

  6. As someone else stated above, burp videos where the girl is trying too hard to be sexy. Cringey dialogue and body movements can be a bit distracting and mess up the vibe lol. I think its best when they try to be natural instead of seductively winking and putting their finger in their mouth.

Burping is good. Eating a whole lot and also burping is also great. Eating others is where I draw the line.
