What happens when you drink soda really fast? Just asking for myself

Your stomach fills with gas, bloating uncomfortably until you burp. If it’s got sugar in it, you might feel nauseous.

I usually feel a little nauseous, and if I try to force a burp, or intentionally make it a loud burp… I’ll feel really sick.
If I drink a whole can or bottle of soda too quickly, there will definitely be burping, but I wouldn’t do forced ones with all that soda freshly on my stomach

I’ve tried drinking soda plenty of times really quickly to try and purposely get myself hiccups plenty of times before but Ive never succeeded in doing that. The bloat itself feels good though.
