Twitch chat logs

ive been trying to find a way to download twitch chat logs to my MacBook so i can find more content and post it here. i saw a post on how to do it using Chatty, but it doesn’t seem to work for MacBooks. any suggestions?

Chatty offers a JAR version of their software. To use it, you’ll need to install the Java Runtime on your MacBook

Once Java has been installed, run the Chatty.jar file

this is the error that i get every time i try to run the file

  • Open up System Preferences
  • Click on the vault icon with the ‘Security & Privacy’ label beneath it
  • You should then see a label with something along the lines of: "Chatty.jar" was blocked from opening because...
  • Click ‘Open Anyway’
  • Type your password if prompted

You should then be able to run the Jar file
