I, myself, love to work outside and garden and do landscaping, along with some do it yourself projects.

You folks gotta try VR. You can get a PSVR reasonably cheap. If so, play Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
Or get an Oculus Rift and use it to watch burping porn.

Have you played REVII on a TV? IMO it should only be played in VR, it’s that damn good. You may wish to consider waiting for PS5 though, where “PSVR 2”'s technology will be even better.

That’s another on my backlog! Looking forward to it when I have time, I have the Complete Edition. Likewise, I’m very eager for Cyberpunk 2077 as a Game Of The Year edition, with all the paid DLC etc. I need to play The Witcher 3 first though as a warmup.

I’m wise to Sony and Microsoft’s act now. I won’t buy the launch PS5, but the Pro version which will come out mid-cycle. God knows I’ve got more than enough PS3 and PS4 games to keep me occupied until then. That’s my same approach for the Switch; only bought one game so far but taking the r/PatientGamer approach and waiting for a Switch Pro (and then further for it to go on sale for an enviable price).
Yes I recommend REmake 3 before REVII. Both of the recent remakes are meant to be great. I also truly hope that RE8 will be in VR; for it not to be would be a serious regression.

I would say I more or less play rock (more specifically in the vein of indie rock or post-hardcore), with some acoustic stuff and a little bit of funk thrown in. A lot of 2-3 note chords and pentatonic leads. What kind of music do you write?

Cool! I like a lot of stuff with punk influences. Acoustic bass is fun. I got a short scale acoustic fretless some months ago and have been really enjoying it.

I’d be curious to know what the current general user base does in their spare time? What are everyone’s hobbies lately? It’s been a whole plague since this thread died off.
I do a lot of writing and gardening in my spare time lately. I adore growing things and have focused this year on my orchids and peperomias. A recent skill I’ve been investigating involves small tech repair and getting into coding. I’m about to undertake a large renovation project and am eager to look into some sustainable building practice as part of the learning process.
Of course, hobbies could be a broad subject. I also smoke a bit of cannabis and enjoy gaming. I play music. I watch movies. I play a lot of TTRPG. A bit of everything over here, I guess.

My main hobby is drawing. I’ve been doing it since I was around the age of 2. There’s just something about creating your own world from nothing. Or simply letting others see something from your POV
