Which drinks work best?

I’ve been drinking a lot of carbonated drinks lately and while it does make me burp quite a bit, I would love to have the same effect with something a bit healthier. Any suggestions?

Sparkling water usually does it for me

Any specific kind of sparkling water or in general? I also thought that sparkling water was rather unhealthy.

I just assume everything is unhealthy to be honest. Specifically the perrier in the green bottle works best for me

Ok noted, I’ll try it out for sure.

Personally rly like lacroix, get some rly loud ones from that. Pepsi gives me deeper more disgusting ones lolol

I had to check what Lacroix is, we unfortunately don’t have that where I live but we do have Perrier at least.

Why did you think that? It’s water… Carbonation might not be the best for you. That’s contentious though. Kombucha gives me really loud and deep burps and is healthy.

I’m just afraid of ruining my teeth if I keep drinking Sprite and Coca-Cola just to be able to burp more often.

Well yeah, sugary drinks are not good for you.

Time for me to get some then lol.

Ginger beer gives me the most uncontrollable burps. Once I start drinking one I can’t stop burping

I’ll keep that in mind. I tried sparkling water but it didn’t make me burp much.

It really depends on the brand for me. Some are less carbonated than others. Also, the colder they are, the more burpage.

Energy drinks

Ah see I was not aware of that.

Chugging seltzer/club soda is my preferred method. Great if you’re avoiding sugar/sweeteners too. If you live in the US at least, seltzer and club soda refer to the same thing (just plain carbonated water), while sparkling water is naturally bubbly (but tends to be less fizzy in my experience), and tonic water contains quinine (a bitter substance) and sweetener. Here’s an article about carbonated vs still water. Just brush your teeth/rinse your mouth out after drinking it if you’re worried about the acidity.

Carbonic acid isn’t really anything to worry about when it comes to your teeth.

Also, if you do consume something acidic you should probably wait a bit before brushing your teeth, brushing with acid is not great for obvious reasons.

It’s not the carbonic acid I’m worried about, it’s the sugar.

That’s really hot
