I know you’re against megathreads, but I think having one where people could ask to identify videos based on a description or screenshot would clean up a lot of clutter. What makes this different from a regular megathread is that usually there’s no point going back to the thread once the person has been identified, so it makes more sense to keep it consolidated.

If the thread isn’t marked as solved though, then there may be some confusion as to who has been found and who hasn’t.

alot of the time most people dont mark it as solved anyways
I’m for all these types of threads (not megathreads per say, but threads with compiled information).
Aside from not marking threads as solved, I feel most users don’t bother with the search feature.
These threads can be quite useful, but not used by most, kind of making them somewhat a novelty.
It this even a feature? I can’t see that anyone’s used it.
You can easily add tags like solved
