Why are there so many men and so few women among burp fetishists?

It’s all in the title.

Maybe there are just as many, but just fewer of them talk about it openly?

Honestly, I don’t know.

If you have any answers to that.

It’s not necessarily that there are so few women, it’s that they usually don’t come online to talk about it for obvious reasons. There is no real reason why there should be more men who are burp fetishists than women overall. The same applies to most other fetishes as well.

I think most burp fetish communities are an information vacuum for these type of discussions cause we do not know the gender of every single user here and theres not many people active here most are lurkers

That’s true too, some people will gladly chat in private but won’t necessarily post comments or stories or questions.

I think this is an interesting question too. We’ve always had female members here, but the ratio of male to female has always been about the same, which I’d guess to be 5% or less female.

I’ve posted this before, but it’s interesting, and one of the only places I know that mentions us. It’s listed as a very male thing there too.

The rule might be something like that very specific unusual fetishes seems to be a male thing while more general submissive fetishes are more female.

I think this question was asked before recently but I’d say it’s bc this is a male dominated fetish, hence why the most common content on here tends to cater to straight and gay men, and the lack of posting and interaction would maybe be because they want to avoid getting their dms flooded by people asking them for content bc they found out they’re a woman lolol but ofc thats just my take on it, I could be wrong, everyone has their different reasons <:

I don’t think there is any solid evidence or any evidence at all really that this is a male dominated fetish. It’s just that men who have this fetish are much more open about it for various reasons.

Also, for the record, I’ll gladly interact with women in their dms because I myself am not looking for content or expecting anything from them since they don’t owe me or anyone here anything.

Off topic, but that diagram is kinda crazy

Referring to the chart, I never thought I’d see an execution fetish :sob:

I also think a lot of it is the psychology of it- it’s far more taboo for a woman to burp in a social situation than it is for a man, which is in no large part part of the reason a man may find a woman burping to be specially attractive. Men burping follows a social norm and as a result is less taboo

This is fascinating! Thanks for sharing.

It’s also interesting to see burping and feederism right next to each other but on complete opposite ends of the gender spectrum. I’ve always thought food and burps are very linked. But like your theory says, feederism is kinda submissive
