A New Forum

Uhm this link is dead and it says the forum has been taken offline…

“In accordance with Section 25(a) of the ProBoards Terms of Service, this forum has been taken offline.”

So is this new forum a dudd? I don’t really see the point in starting a new forum, migrating from the original forum to this one was hassle enough. And it’s just my opinion but I don’t think it’s beneficial to anyone to split the membership between 2 forums, or for someone like me who wants to see all content and interact with everyone it would mean I’d now have to have 2 burp fetish forums to be a part of, which is a pain in the ass in multiple ways.

I’ve been a member of this community since the old yahoo group days, was a founder of the original forum and take pride in my fetish and membership to the community, I find it sad that some people want to split it all up because of differences in opinion about how things should be run.

In saying that I do agree in democracy, therefore wouldn’t it make more sense to put forward the issues to the admins of this page and come up with solutions together, possibly a new set of rules and even tougher moderation if that’s what the people want?? Personally I have had next to no issues with anyone on this forum or the old one, yes there are creepers in the community, that is never going to change, this is a fetish community, fetishes invite creeps and creeper activity. There are ways of dealing with that which don’t involve starting a new forum, which won’t solve the problem anyway as the creepers will go wherever there is content and making a rule saying “No creepers” or banning creepers isn’t going to make an ounce of difference as they can just make new accounts and do the exact same thing again, and because they are creepers they have no intention of listening to anyone elses rules, the best we can do to combat them is speak out against their behaviour and put our own best feet forward to show the people from outside the community (such as content creators) that we good guys are the majority and we don’t condone the creeper behaviour. Same goes for underage stuff being posted, we need to make a stand (as we have been) and just stamp it out whenever it pops up. Also there have been cases where underage stuff has been posted where the poster didnt actually realise the person in the content was underage, it can be hard to tell a 16 year old from an 18 year old sometimes so there needs to be some slack given in those situations. Also bare in mind this community includes people under the age of 18, they may not realise that underage content is a problem, afterall they will be looking for content that is around their same age. And those members have every right to be members and included in this community, puberty is the most confusing age for us, you should all know that, specially for us guys who hit puberty before the internet was even a thing, I felt lost as a teen before I managed to find others like me online, the young members still figuring out their fetish need this community more than any of us and we older folk should be here to answer any of their questions and offer guidence when needed. Creating yet another forum will only serve to make it even more difficult for everyone.

Come on guys, lets stop all this negative bullshit and start to deal with the issues together before we decide to put an axe to what has been one of the greatest things in our lives, this is our thing, we are a rarity, we are special, we need to stick together.

Like I said mate, if you have issues the appropriate way to solve them is to put them forward to the leadership of this forum and to the people of the community. Not pack a sad and start your own forum, which btw doesn’t even work.

Look, @moderators, you can delete my account. Both of them. The fact that the forum blew up was established several days ago @Omnius. Frankly I don’t care at the moment; the affiliated Discord is beautiful and the content scene there is now more active and flourishing than the one here. I already have what I want: a community where I feel I have more of a say in how things are run there than I do here, and where I can make a true difference.

I know there are good people here, and I know the mods are among them. If you’re not a harasser, predator, pedophile, or thief, and I know the majority of you are not, then I wish you well. I really do.

I can appreciate what you are saying and a discord is a fine thing to have going. A discord and this forum are not mutually exclusive as they serve rather different purposes so I see no problems with that what so ever, for me personally a discord isn’t really my scene as I prefer to log on to here maybe once every couple of weeks, catch up on the posts and my PMs and then go back to my usual life. I only had an issue with another forum for the reasons I stated earlier, splitting the community in 2 being the major one and also the fact some of us like me would want to hang out in both forums so would need to have 2 accounts and spend time looking through both. I wasn’t trying to be a dick head or negative towards you I was just trying to point out some of the issues with the idea of having a second forum, which I think are valid and a lot of people would agree with. I don’t see any reason why you need to be banned or removed from here, as long as you are happy to run the discord and let the current admins continue to run this forum then I think everyone should be happy and the need for a 2nd forum is just not required. If there ever was going to be another forum it wouldnt make sense to keep this one running in my opinion, but for the content I am interested in this forum works perfectly fine, so I see no reason to fix what isnt broke. I come here for discussion and stories mostly, I don’t see the forum as a good place to find or share actual content, apart from the legit stuff in the commercial section. We all know how to access porn hub and we all know how to acces youtube, as well as our substantial individual collections, theres plenty of content available out there for my liking.

I wasn’t guna say anything, but yeah you pretty much summed it up, sounds like a blatant power grab in my opinion, he can have his discord, this is where the main community home is and hopefully always will be. Maybe I’m just an old fart but discord seems like a place for young people to hang out hahaha I much prefer the forum as I’m sure a lot of the older guys do. And a lot of us have been here from day 1 of the original forums so for us this really is our home, I have no desire to abandon this forum or the admins who do a fine and thankless job running it.

I’m with you man. We are a community and we should feel this inside of us. As you say yeah there’s creeps. But creeps are everywhere, discord anime groups, bdsm communities, lesbian and lgtb groups ect. We have to understand that all people can come here meaning that we have to be cautious sometimes but what we can’t do is split and separate our unity because of fucking drama. YES Maybe there’s teens, but damn I was a damn teen a confused 12 yo kid when i first entered into the old forum to check what was what I was feeling. I didn’t understood why I liked burping videos, I didn’t even knew I liked guys. We need to orientate people and explain them that they’re not weird but also tell them some rules they must follow for their security and the legal security of others. They should be welcome but with some restrictions before they’re 18. We should also help this people if they have fears of for example if they are gay or lesbian or bisexual, help them to get out of the closet, to explain them what is a fetish and what will they feel, to let them feel free and tell this to other guys who feel like them instead of making this site a fucking circus of bullshit and edgy insults!

Just remember the origins of this which Ive been told by older veterans here… The confused guys who felt weird and created a community from scratch to feel they belonged to something and were together.

So stop this stupid action of hiding and separating things and let’s sit and talk like adults do and fix the problems inside here to build a better comunnity TOGETHER.

Well it depends what you are looking to get out of it. I do like that it seems the models on there coming together and really being active on there which I think is a good thing, I would say for some it would be an extension of the forum not a replacement. I’m not really active on there, but it is good to see that it seems to be healthy over there, but I don’t think it was meant to replace what is here.

Agree 1000%. I liked the idea of the new forum especially since It’s nostalgic of the old one. But after reading your perspective, I also think we just need to come together and combat the issues together. Instead of just splintering into other places. The discord I’m not that active on but it is a cool place, very nice people on there. I understand pikachu’s reasoning for the discord as well as the new forum. But at the end of the day, to combat these issues we need unity, not separation.

Bingo. That, or the moderators changed things around here. I’m also seeing signs of the latter, and I hope they indicate a trend.

I might be speaking too soon here, though. Fauna is in charge of the Discord, I just help her run it. And I’m fine with that, because I think she’s a better person for the role than I am.

It’s down. :S Also all the problems currently affecting this forum could be easily fixed by recruiting more active and responsible mods I guess. Anyway, I want to give this new forum a try but it’s offline at the moment.

It depends. I have no immediate plans to remake it right now, but that’s because I sense there’s been a change. We’ll see.

And the discord is a cool please, not a replacement for this forum, but an extension where the content creators can feel more comfortable and easily talk to their consumers and friends.

I guess it depends on what you want. For some people it serves as a supplement to this place. But a few other people have chosen to nuke their BFF accounts and use the Discord as their primary community, and some content creators also choose to advertise there but not here. I hesitate to call it an “extension” because that suggests that they have the same management and that disciplinary decisions made on one platform carry over to another. I have no problem with someone using it as an alternative platform for this fetish if that’s what they want to do. You do you! But at the end of the day, readers should be aware that we emphasize certain rules there that are not necessarily emphasized here, and that there are things tolerated here that are not tolerated there. In that regard, they are very much separate communities. At least that’s my impression.
