Like I said mate, if you have issues the appropriate way to solve them is to put them forward to the leadership of this forum and to the people of the community. Not pack a sad and start your own forum, which btw doesn’t even work.

Well, to be fair, my post DOES begin like this:

Look, @moderators, you can delete my account. Both of them. The fact that the forum blew up was established several days ago @Omnius. Frankly I don’t care at the moment; the affiliated Discord is beautiful and the content scene there is now more active and flourishing than the one here. I already have what I want: a community where I feel I have more of a say in how things are run there than I do here, and where I can make a true difference.

I am content. :blush:

I know there are good people here, and I know the mods are among them. If you’re not a harasser, predator, pedophile, or thief, and I know the majority of you are not, then I wish you well. I really do.

I can appreciate what you are saying and a discord is a fine thing to have going. A discord and this forum are not mutually exclusive as they serve rather different purposes so I see no problems with that what so ever, for me personally a discord isn’t really my scene as I prefer to log on to here maybe once every couple of weeks, catch up on the posts and my PMs and then go back to my usual life. I only had an issue with another forum for the reasons I stated earlier, splitting the community in 2 being the major one and also the fact some of us like me would want to hang out in both forums so would need to have 2 accounts and spend time looking through both. I wasn’t trying to be a dick head or negative towards you I was just trying to point out some of the issues with the idea of having a second forum, which I think are valid and a lot of people would agree with. I don’t see any reason why you need to be banned or removed from here, as long as you are happy to run the discord and let the current admins continue to run this forum then I think everyone should be happy and the need for a 2nd forum is just not required. If there ever was going to be another forum it wouldnt make sense to keep this one running in my opinion, but for the content I am interested in this forum works perfectly fine, so I see no reason to fix what isnt broke. I come here for discussion and stories mostly, I don’t see the forum as a good place to find or share actual content, apart from the legit stuff in the commercial section. We all know how to access porn hub and we all know how to acces youtube, as well as our substantial individual collections, theres plenty of content available out there for my liking.

I wasn’t guna say anything, but yeah you pretty much summed it up, sounds like a blatant power grab in my opinion, he can have his discord, this is where the main community home is and hopefully always will be. Maybe I’m just an old fart but discord seems like a place for young people to hang out hahaha I much prefer the forum as I’m sure a lot of the older guys do. And a lot of us have been here from day 1 of the original forums so for us this really is our home, I have no desire to abandon this forum or the admins who do a fine and thankless job running it.

Well it depends what you are looking to get out of it. I do like that it seems the models on there coming together and really being active on there which I think is a good thing, I would say for some it would be an extension of the forum not a replacement. I’m not really active on there, but it is good to see that it seems to be healthy over there, but I don’t think it was meant to replace what is here.

Agree 1000%. I liked the idea of the new forum especially since It’s nostalgic of the old one. But after reading your perspective, I also think we just need to come together and combat the issues together. Instead of just splintering into other places. The discord I’m not that active on but it is a cool place, very nice people on there. I understand pikachu’s reasoning for the discord as well as the new forum. But at the end of the day, to combat these issues we need unity, not separation.

Bingo. That, or the moderators changed things around here. I’m also seeing signs of the latter, and I hope they indicate a trend.

I might be speaking too soon here, though. Fauna is in charge of the Discord, I just help her run it. And I’m fine with that, because I think she’s a better person for the role than I am.

It’s down. :S Also all the problems currently affecting this forum could be easily fixed by recruiting more active and responsible mods I guess. Anyway, I want to give this new forum a try but it’s offline at the moment.

It depends. I have no immediate plans to remake it right now, but that’s because I sense there’s been a change. We’ll see.

And the discord is a cool please, not a replacement for this forum, but an extension where the content creators can feel more comfortable and easily talk to their consumers and friends.

I guess it depends on what you want. For some people it serves as a supplement to this place. But a few other people have chosen to nuke their BFF accounts and use the Discord as their primary community, and some content creators also choose to advertise there but not here. I hesitate to call it an “extension” because that suggests that they have the same management and that disciplinary decisions made on one platform carry over to another. I have no problem with someone using it as an alternative platform for this fetish if that’s what they want to do. You do you! But at the end of the day, readers should be aware that we emphasize certain rules there that are not necessarily emphasized here, and that there are things tolerated here that are not tolerated there. In that regard, they are very much separate communities. At least that’s my impression.

Perhaps a Gollum thing in that he complained about lots of users, but also a Gollum thing in that he got a lot of his own complaints (i.e. directed at him). Things seem so much more civil these days.

I never really found a problem with the moderation, personally. I mean if someone is being rude and disgusting to people and targeting them, they should no longer be here :man_shrugging:t5:
