I don’t and I’ve never had, and idk whether it is linked to me having this kink, it’s the same with farts, not even when I was a child have I found burps or farts funny.
I’m not saying this makes me a better or a worse person; I simply don’t understand why most people find those funny. What is it about burps and farts that makes people laugh? Can you put into words the reason you find them funny?
Did your enjoyment of burps/farts as a form of humor change after realizing you had this kink/fetish?
What I’m going to say here isn’t a rule… I’ve never found it funny. For me, it’s always been more exciting than fun. Burps make my dick hard, and I don’t feel like laughing or laughing with other people.
I’m truly so confused by people finding burps funny. In High school some of my classmates would burp as loudly as possible during our lunch break and for some reason 70% of the people present would find it super funny, as if they had told us the most hilarious joke in the world, but they were just burping pretty loudly, that’s it, I never understood what possessed them to erupt in such genuine laughter.
I forgot to mention that I’m in the spectrum, so if anyone else is as well, I’d find it extremely useful and would really appreciate it if you could share your own insights on this matter.
I’ve never found it funny because it’s not my sense of humour, but I understand why people laugh. You could summarise a lot (most?) humour by ‘someone does something socially inappropriate’
Ok, but there are countless “socially inappropriate” behaviors that don’t elicit this reaction from people, so I still don’t get it what specific thing about burps and farts makes people “LOL”.
Eh I never really found it that funny. Its more of a talent admiration thing for me. I do have this friend who intentionally tries to make his own burps sound weird to illicit some reaction. If a really strange one comes up during a group chat I’d say something like “Cool. Never make that sound ever again.” As thats my kinda humor.
They can be. Timing, sound, people’s responses to them. I sometimes laugh when people burp, mostly if it’s unexpected or noteworthy. I also laugh when I burp sometimes. I love burps. It’s not just sexual. They add color to the monotony of being embodied.
i also on the not-finding-it-funny-side. For me, comedy is about timing and pre-existing knowledge.
There are burps, i heard, that had a comedic timing. Then its funny because of the timing, not the burp. So my guess is, someone who actually thinks burps are funny, had to experience a funny situation with or because of a burp. Then they made the connection
Burps, absolutely not. I hear casual burps from everyone, and I literally mean EVERYONE. Family members and friends, boy or girl. All the damn time. And no one ever comments on them. I maybe had one friend group that laughed at burps when I was in high school, but that’s cause a bunch of girls were burping on command and trying to make the loudest and freakiest sounds. Otherwise, no, I can’t find burps funny even if I wanted to, no one else does.
Farts, well, I’m 26 now so no one my age or older laughs at farts anymore other than older men trying to annoy their wives. I grew up in a household that joked about farts when I was a kid, but whenever I farted and they made fun of it, I took it very personally and seriously. There was many a crying fit and tantrum back then.
Whenever a friend farted, I never ever found myself laughing (other than fake laughing a few times) only ever being fascinated. It’s actually kinda awkward if someone farts around me. I will generally stay silent if that happens and just kinda ignore it cause there’s quite literally nothing that isn’t cringe worthy that I could say after someone farts. Inside my head though, that shit is scrambling my brain, and I will likely remember it for years to come, whether for better or for worse😅
EDIT: there is a video posted here that I commented on, and it was of the only time a fart ever made me laugh, and still does. It’s cause it was the most freakiest sounding shit in the world. A sound so other worldly I can’t believe the human body could make that sound
Never been my cup of tea I can get down with some gross out humor but it’s not anything I care to watch burps and farts have never been funny. I hate when YouTubers include their burps to be funny like idubbz and shit

As a kid I found them extremely offputting.
For farts on the other hand, I’d say I found them as funny as any other kid. I never cared for fart jokes or potty humor in tv or movies, but otherwise, sure, I’d laugh like with any other awkward or embarrasing situation.
oh god, tv show/movie fart jokes are the worst! I don’t know how tv execs think that’s okay to put in media. It just makes it awkward, for everyone.
I’m pretty sure not even kids find movie farts funny, only like the most immature of little toddlers MAYBE
I second this a lot! I found burps/farts funny before I found them attractive. The fascination for some reason was always there since I was a kid (even if it was a bit contained, since my parents and relatives didn’t really indulge a lot in it), and then once I started exploring my sexuality it just unlocked this other section of what burps/farts can mean to me. And sometimes those two things can mesh together. I think sex and sexual behaviour can be fun-inducing as well, and there have been situations where something outside of a burp/fart happened in a sexual situation that made me and the other(s) party(ies) involved laugh and that’s alright, I think it adds to the spontaneous nature I associate with sexual behaviour. Also, it must have a lot to do with me finding humour something VERY attractive and someone making me laugh really pushing my buttons (in the sense that it draws me closer to them).
I also think the humorous side to gas doesn’t always have to be the exaggerated one we sometimes see in movies/cartoons/shows. Sometimes a burp/fart just happens and it can be funny, given the context in which it happens. Still, I also can have a laugh at a gross-out joke in a movie (I’m not sophisticated at all lol). And then there is also the angle where I find people having fun at a burp/fart VERY sexually stimulating (depending on the situation). I remember when a friend burped and then he or someone around us cracked a joke and that, more than just the burp itself, made me very horny in that particular moment.
So, yeah, I definitely find them funny and sometimes (within a specific situation) that enhances the “sexual” aspect of it for me.
Yeah, humor is really important to me too and definitely very attractive. Laughing during sexual situations also happens and I prefer it to not always be extremely serious. One of my first partners told me (incidentally when I pulled away when making out because I had to burp and was embarrassed) that sex isn’t always sexy. I’ve lived by that since then.
I’ve been around a lot of people that had humorous quips to me burping and me to their respective bodily functions, so it seems perfectly normal to me.
